ARMStaffing in San Antonio, TX is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our Adult ICU team on a 13-week contract. You will administer respiratory therapies and manage ventilators to support critically ill patients.

The ideal candidate holds CRT or RRT, Texas RCP license, BLS and ACLS, with 6 months to 1 year ICU experience. You will work day shifts in a fast-paced ICU and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• CRT or RRT certification required.
• Texas RCP license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Administer nebulizer therapy, airway clearance, and BiPAP.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our Adult ICU team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in administering respiratory care and providing critical interventions for patients in the intensive care unit.

Responsibilities

• Administer nebulizer therapy, airway clearance, and BiPAP treatments.
• Operate and manage ventilators, including GE Carescape R860 and Covidien PB980 models.
• Utilize high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) and non-invasive ventilation equipment.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and report findings.
• Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team in the ICU setting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of ICU experience.
• Valid CRT or RRT certification.
• Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
