Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist in Oklahoma (Broken Arrow area) for a 13-week contract, night shift 18:45–07:15. The role requires NBRC RRT or CRT certification and an Oklahoma license, plus ACLS & BLS per American Heart Association.

Experience with ventilators and invasive/non-invasive procedures is needed. The position involves delivering inhalation therapies, maintaining airways, arterial line insertions, and conducting pulmonary function tests, with benefits and travel support

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years recent experience with ventilators, ventilator weaning, tracheostomy, ET tube, CPAP, BiPAP, and nebulizer treatments
• NBRC RRT or CRT certification required
• Oklahoma Respiratory Therapist license required
• ACLS & BLS certifications, must be through the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

Respiratory Therapist

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist is either registered or certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care to provide Cardiopulmonary Services. This role is responsible for following protocols approved by the medical staff and department policy and procedures to provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
• Maintaining airways and ventilator management
• Insertion of arterial lines and intubations
• Conducting pulmonary function studies and cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
• Performing blood gas analyses

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

This is a night shift position from 18:45 to 07:15.
