A healthcare facility is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services as part of a multidisciplinary patient care team. This position supports patients across a variety of clinical settings by delivering respiratory treatments, monitoring respiratory status, and assisting with advanced airway and ventilation needs.
Perform respiratory assessments, including evaluation of breath sounds, airway function, and respiratory status.
Provide diagnostic respiratory procedures to assess patient needs and response to therapy.
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medication treatments, and chest physiotherapy.
Assist with airway management procedures and support artificial airway placement.
Initiate, monitor, and maintain invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
Transport ventilator-dependent patients while ensuring safe respiratory support.
Respond to emergency situations and assist with airway management during resuscitation efforts.
Document respiratory assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
Associate Degree or Certificate Program in Respiratory.
NBRC and State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required; new graduates and CRT candidates will also be considered.
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
NRP - Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
Available on days or nights with rotating weekends.
