Job summary

SolutionHealth in Nashua, NH is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care in a state-of-the-art hospital setting. You will perform therapies, monitor patients, and respond to airway emergencies as part of a collaborative care team.

The role requires certification as a Respiratory Therapist, current NH license, CPR, and preferred ACLS/NRP/PALS with at least 1 year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Requires AMA Respiratory Practitioner program completion.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist credential required.
• NH State RCP license current.
• CPR certification required.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS preferred.
• 1 year experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy orders throughout the hospital.
• Draw arterial blood gases, analyze ABGs and samples.
• Manage life support ventilators and BiPAP/CPAP.
• Respond to Codes/Emergencies for airway management.

About the Job:

Performs all aspects of respiratory care within practice guidelines and approved hospital policy and procedures.

What You’ll Do:

• Performance of respiratory therapy orders throughout the hospital
• Drawing of arterial blood gases, analyzing ABGs and cord/venous/capillary samples
• Management of life support ventilators and BiPAP/CPAP
• Respond to Codes/Emergencies for airway management

Who You Are:

• Requires satisfactory completion of an approved AMA Respiratory Practitioner program required.
• Completes all major competency verifications on a yearly basis required.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist credential required.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications preferred.
• Current NH State RCP license required
• CPR certification required.
• 1 year experience acute care setting preferred.
