Position Overview
- We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a collaborative healthcare team at a 25-bed critical access hospital in northern New Hampshire. This role supports both inpatient and outpatient services, with opportunities to work across all age groups. New graduates are welcome and training is provided.
- The Respiratory Care Practitioner plays a vital role in delivering safe, evidence-based respiratory care while demonstrating professionalism, clinical independence, and strong teamwork.
Compensation & Incentives
- Hourly Rate: $30.00 – $45.00
- Annual Salary Range: $62,400 – $93,600
- Sign-On / Commencement Bonus: Up to $7,500 for RRT - Up to $3,500 for RT
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $7,500
- Student Loan Repayment: Up to $15,750
- Transport: Required (critical access hospital setting)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver age‑appropriate respiratory care across diverse patient populations.
- Manage ventilators and advanced respiratory equipment.
- Respond to emergency and critical care needs.
- Participate in patient transport when required.
- Adhere to hospital policies, AARC standards of practice, and evidence‑based care guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred
- New Hampshire Respiratory Care License (required)
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- ACLS – Current or eligible
- NBRC Certification – Required
- PALS & NRP – Required or must obtain within 6 months of hire
- Clinically independent with experience treating patients of all ages
- 2 years acute care hospital experience required
- Critical Access Hospital experience preferred
