Job summary

Live Well Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our clinical team in Wilkes-Barre, PA. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and deliver evidence-based respiratory care in a patient-facing role.

You will manage respiratory equipment, provide education to patients and families, and assist with intra-hospital transports and procedures. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications (provided and required).
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to operate advanced respiratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ respiratory needs and develop care plans.
• Perform and document treatments such as aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, secretion management, and artificial airway care.
• Manage mechanical ventilators and non-invasive monitoring equipment.
• Provide patient and family education on disease management.
• Assist with intra-hospital transport and emergency airway management.
• Support procedures like fiberoptic bronchoscopy and invasive line placement.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Serve as Shift Coordinator and preceptor for students and new staff.
