Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care. The role includes patient evaluations, care planning, and execution of therapies such as aerosolized medications and oxygen therapy.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team, participate in invasive procedures, and educate patients and families. A strong emphasis on safety, confidentiality, and teaching new staff is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a specialty training program.
• Strong assessment, communication, and technical skills.
• Ability to function effectively in emergent situations and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and establish care plans.
• Communicate with healthcare team and manage therapeutic modalities.
• Assist with invasive procedures like bronchoscopy and line placements.
• Ensure patient and family education and monitor respiratory status with non-invasive tools.
• Assist with intra-hospital transport and discharge planning.
• Uphold safety, confidentiality, and regulatory standards; act as shift coordinator and preceptor.

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Perform patient evaluations, establish care plans, communicate with healthcare team, manage therapeutic modalities, and assist with invasive procedures like bronchoscopy and line placements. Ensure patient and family education, monitor respiratory status with non-invasive tools, and assist with transport and discharge planning. Maintain safety standards, adhere to regulations, and uphold confidentiality. Additional duties include acting as shift coordinator, providing intra-hospital transport, and serving as a preceptor for students and new staff.
