Live Well Homecare seeks a qualified Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care in a clinical setting. You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver effective therapies and ventilator management.

You will educate patients and families, serve as a shift coordinator or a preceptor, and participate in ongoing quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a specialty training program in respiratory therapy.
• Proficiency in pulmonary treatments, mechanical ventilation, and emergency airway management.
• Ability to educate patients and families; function as a shift coordinator or preceptor.

Responsabilités

• Perform patient assessments and establish care plans; communicate with the healthcare team.
• Manage therapeutic modalities and airway-related tasks; assist with airway management.
• Monitor non-invasive devices, support intra-hospital patient transport.
• Collect arterial blood gases and assist with invasive procedures; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Role Overview:

The Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) provides comprehensive respiratory care, including assessment, treatment planning, and execution of therapies such as aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform patient assessments, establish care plans, communicate with healthcare team, and manage therapeutic modalities. Assist with airway management, monitor and interpret non-invasive devices, and support intra-hospital patient transport.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate from a specialty training program, with proficiency in pulmonary treatments, mechanical ventilation, and emergency airway management. Ability to educate patients and families, and function as a shift coordinator or preceptor.

Additional Duties:

Collect arterial blood gases, assist with invasive procedures, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
