Role

Respiratory Therapist Float responsible for providing comprehensive patient respiratory care across multiple hospital locations.

Key Duties

Perform thorough patient assessments, develop care plans, administer therapies (aerosolized medications, oxygen, artificial airway care), and manage mechanical ventilators. Provide patient and family education, assist with intra-hospital transport, manage airway emergencies, and support diagnostic procedures like bronchoscopy. Maintain monitoring equipment, collect blood gases, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. Serve as Shift Coordinator when designated, and mentor students and new staff.

Qualifications & Skills
