Role Overview:

A full-time Respiratory Therapist performs patient assessments, develops care plans, and communicates with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

Administers therapeutic modalities such as aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and manages mechanical ventilators. Provides patient and family education, assists with intra-hospital transport, and manages emergency airway situations. Operates monitoring equipment, collects blood gases, and supports procedures like bronchoscopy and line placement. Acts as Shift Coordinator after one year and mentors students and new staff. Ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards, maintains patient confidentiality, and assists with discharge planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Requires 2+ years of related experience, graduate from Specialty Training Program, and ability to float between multiple hospital locations. Both day and night shifts available, with every other weekend and holiday work.
