Role

Respiratory Therapist responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care, patient assessments, care planning, and education.

Responsibilities

Perform and document patient assessments, manage therapeutic modalities, initiate and oversee mechanical ventilation, assist with invasive procedures, monitor patient status, and support intra-hospital transport. Ensure safety compliance, maintain patient confidentiality, and act as a Shift Coordinator when designated. Serve as a preceptor for trainees and assist in discharge planning and emergency airway management.

Qualifications & Skills

Graduate of Specialty Training Program, minimum of 2 years of related experience, ability to float between multiple hospital locations, and proficiency in patient assessment, ventilator management, and emergency response.
