Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist to assess, plan, and deliver patient respiratory care in a clinical setting.

The role involves patient assessments, care planning, ventilator management, and collaboration with medical teams, with a focus on safety and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a specialty respiratory therapy program and be eligible/credentialed as an RRT.
• Experience in clinical respiratory care with direct patient interaction.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary care.
• Familiarity with modern respiratory equipment and adherence to safety/regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop care plans for respiratory therapy.
• Deliver and document modalities (nebulized meds, oxygen therapy, airway care).
• Manage mechanical ventilators and assist in intra-hospital transport.
• Ensure safety compliance and collaborate with medical teams.
• Collect arterial blood gases and maintain patient confidentiality.

Job description

Role Overview: This position is for a full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering patient respiratory care.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop care plans, perform and document therapeutic modalities (e.g., aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, artificial airway care), and manage mechanical ventilators.
Assist in intra-hospital transport, acute airway management, and support fiberoptic procedures. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and standards of care.
Collect arterial blood gases, maintain patient confidentiality, and collaborate with medical teams.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a specialty training program, with experience in respiratory therapy. Strong communication and teamwork skills, proficiency with state-of-the-art equipment, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
