LCMC Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist in Louisiana to provide hands-on care across critical and general settings, including ventilator management and airway support. You will collaborate with a skilled team, educate patients and families, and uphold infection control standards while delivering a range of therapies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist in Louisiana.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with NBRC.
• Current BLS/CPR (AHA).
• ACLS Certification.
• PALS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage ventilators and adjust settings based on patient needs.
• Perform arterial punctures and assist with airway management.
• Support high-acuity situations like Code III responses.
• Assist with bronchoscopies and intubations.
• Deliver therapies (oxygen, aerosol, CPT, IPPB, incentive spirometry, and more).
• Monitor equipment and ensure safe, effective operation.
• Educate patients and families so they feel informed and empowered.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Collaborate with a team that values your insight and expertise.
