Corewell Health in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our outpatient Pulmonology HOPD team. You will perform a full range of diagnostic testing and contribute to patient care and education in a collaborative clinic setting.

This full-time daytime role includes 36 hours weekly, with responsibilities across testing, monitoring and treatment of lung conditions for patients of all ages, supported by a multidisciplinary team and the organization's commitments to

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• 2 years of relevant experience in pulmonary rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep medicine or equivalent.
• Licensure and/or certifications required upon hire: State of Michigan Respiratory Therapist license, NBRC CRT, and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of diagnostic testing in an outpatient pulmonary clinic.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team to diagnose, monitor, and treat lung conditions.
• Provide patient care and education to individuals across age groups.

As a Respiratory Therapist with Corewell Health, you can help patients breathe more easily and live life more comfortably. You'll collaborate with a highly skilled clinical team to help diagnose, monitor, and treat conditions that affect the lungs and breathing in people of all ages.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree Respiratory Therapy
• 2 years of relevant experience pulmonary rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep medicine or equivalent clinical education Required
• LIC-Respiratory Therapist - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care Upon Hire required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
