Job summary

Sheltering Arms Institute seeks a Respiratory Therapist for the PRN Nights shift to deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, including assessments, treatments, oxygen therapy, airway management, and respiratory support.

The RT collaborates with physicians, nursing, and therapy teams to support medical stability, rehabilitation goals, and safe transitions of care, with night/weekend shift differential where applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous respiratory therapy clinical experience or equivalent training.
• One year of respiratory therapy experience in inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, or a similarly complex clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Perform respiratory assessments, treatments, therapies, oxygen therapy, airway management, and respiratory support.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, therapy disciplines, and other team members to support medical stability and rehabilitation goals.
