Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the night shift to deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will perform assessments, therapies, oxygen delivery, airway and secretion management, and collaborate with a transdisciplinary team to support medical stability and rehab goals.

The role requires graduation from an accredited RT program, Virginia licensure, NBRC RRT/CRT, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy education program.
• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Current NBRC credential: RRT or CRT.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Preferred: RRT credential; AHA ACLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to inpatients, including assessment, therapies, oxygen, airway and secretion management.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, therapy disciplines and the transdisciplinary team to support medical stability and rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor patient respiratory status and adjust treatments as ordered; ensure safe transition of care.
