HCA Florida West Hospital in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) PRN to join a supportive, patient‑focused team. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, manage ventilation, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver high‑quality care.

This PRN role offers flexible scheduling, access to advanced respiratory technology, mentorship from RT leaders, and a broad benefits program including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and education support.

Qualificações

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC cert.
• Associate Degree or certificate in respiratory care.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP within specified onboarding windows.
• PALS certification within 90 days for pediatric care.

Responsabilidades

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Deliver oxygen, aerosolized meds, airway clearance techniques, and other therapies across care settings.
• Assist with artificial airways, invasive/noninvasive ventilation, and monitor responses.
• Educate patients and families, act as clinical resource for team, and assist with stable newborns when needed.
• Set up, operate, and maintain respiratory equipment and ensure infection-prevention standards.
