Qualifications

• RRT- NBRC registered respiratory therapist credential required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS and Neonatal Resuscitation certifications required within stated timelines.
• Associate degree or certificate in respiratory therapy or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Deliver oxygen, aerosolized meds, airway clearance, and therapies across settings.
• Manage ventilation and airway support including invasive and noninvasive modes.
• Educate patients and families, coordinate with care team, assist with newborn stabilization when needed.
• Maintain equipment and ensure infection prevention standards are followed.
