Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to provide advanced respiratory care in complex critical care settings. You will manage ventilators, perform airway procedures, and assess patients to guide treatment plans.

The role requires NBRC-RRT certification, BLS, ACLS on hire, and 0-2 years of clinical experience with a minimum 6 months in critical care. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in our fast-paced environment.

Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care, including ventilator management, airway procedures, and arterial blood gas analysis.
• Educate patients and support system, mentor new staff and students, and participate in staff development.
• Collaborate with healthcare team for care planning and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Promote quality and safe environment through adherence to policies, performance improvement, and evidence-based practices.
• Assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including pulmonary diagnostics and cardiac services.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• Certifications: NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Professional, BLS, and ACLS required upon hire.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills; ability to establish effective relationships with healthcare professionals.
