Vetted Solutions is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to deliver complex respiratory care in critical care settings, including ventilator management and airway procedures. The role emphasizes patient assessments and education.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, administer medications, interpret ABGs, and support performance improvement initiatives while mentoring new staff and students.

Competenze

• 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications required upon hire.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and assessment skills; proficient with computer systems and databases.

Role:

Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, including medication administration, ventilator management, airway procedures, and patient assessments in critical care settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient care, documentation, and education, fostering a team-oriented environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement respiratory therapies.
• Administer aerosolized medications, manage ventilators, interpret waveforms, and perform airway management (intubation, extubation, trach care).
• Conduct arterial blood gas sampling and analysis, provide patient and family education, and mentor new staff and students.
• Ensure safe, high-quality care by promoting current practices, medication safety, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist with invasive procedures, pulmonary diagnostics, and cardiac service procedures as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• Valid certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT or RCP upon hire.
• 0-2 years clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, assessment skills, and proficiency with computer systems and databases.
