Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Boardman in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for per diem night shifts (12-hour shifts). The role focuses on evaluating patients, delivering advanced respiratory care, and managing complex cases in a hospital setting.

You’ll support QA efforts and patient-family education on care plans. The position offers per diem flexibility, with night and weekend differentials, plus access to a 401(k) plan after hours worked.

Qualifications

Overview

Position: Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Per Diem / PRN

Location: Youngstown, OH

Schedule: Night Shift (12-Hour Shifts) PRN / As Needed

Compensation: $39.00 per hour (Shift differentials for nights and weekends)

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.

• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.

• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.

• Current state licensure is required.

• ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
