Select Specialty Hospital Grand Rapids is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) on a PRN basis for day or night shifts in Grand Rapids, Michigan. You will evaluate patients, recommend treatment plans, and provide respiratory care, including management of endotracheal tubes, while supporting quality improvement and educating patients and families.

The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus after 16 shifts and pay of $41.00 per hour, with competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• NBRC CRT or RRT credential is required.
• BLS certification must be active by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes as needed.
• Promote continuous quality improvement in patient care.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Hours: 7:00 am - 7:30 pm or 7:00 pm- 7:30 am

$5,000 Sign-in Bonus (after 16 non-orientation shifts)

Pay: $41.00 per hour

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
