Select Specialty Hospital Battle Creek in Battle Creek, Michigan, is actively seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT & CRT) for full-time dayshift. The role offers up to $42.00 per hour, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, providing respiratory care for critical conditions, managing airway procedures, and contributing to quality improvement. ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Current BLS certification by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire or upon first shift for agency staff.
• One year of RT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.

Respiratory Therapist (RRT & CRT) - Full Time Dayshift

$15,000 Sign-on Bonus!

Pay: Up to $42.00 per hour, based on experience

($3.00 shift differentials for nights and $3.00 for weekends)

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
