Job summary

ALLIANCE STAFFING SOLUTIONS LLC in St. Louis, MO is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) to support pediatric acute care on a PRN basis. The role requires delivering respiratory therapies and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of acute pediatric experience, ICU experience preferred, and Epic experience. A current RT license and BLS are required, with additional certifications like PALS, ACLS, RRT,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of acute pediatric experience (required).
• Epic experience required.
• Current RT license/certification as required by the state.
• Current BLS certification.
• ICU experience preferred; PALS/ACLS/NRP may be required by facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to pediatric patients in acute care.
• Assess patients and implement care plans for respiratory therapies.
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosols, and other respiratory therapies as ordered.
• Monitor and manage patients requiring respiratory support.
• Assist with ventilator management and airway care as appropriate.
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient progress in Epic.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
• Follow facility policies, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards.
• Perform other respiratory therapy duties as assigned

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) to provide respiratory care in an acute pediatric healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of acute pediatric experience, with ICU experience preferred, as well as at least 1 year of experience using Epic.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of acute pediatric experience – REQUIREDMinimum 1 year of Epic experience – REQUIRED ICU experience – PREFERRED
• Current Respiratory Therapist license/certification as required by the state
• Current BLS certification
• Additional certifications such as PALS, ACLS, RRT, or NRP may be required based on facility requirements
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute-care environment
• Comfortable working with pediatric patients and multidisciplinary clinical teams

Compensation & Employment

Pay: $45-$50
