Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in St. Charles, MO is seeking a PRN Respiratory Therapist. You will evaluate patients, provide respiratory care, and support critical care patients in our post-ICU setting. A strong orientation program and opportunities for growth are available.

Requirements include active NBRC credential, BLS, ACLS on hire, and state licensure. This role offers a competitive hourly rate with night and weekend differentials and a $7,500 sign-on bonus with no repayment requirement.

Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required upon hire.
• Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule: PRN Day or Night 5:30a/p-6p/a - minimum 4 shifts in a 6 week periodCompensation: $43/hourly + sift differentials for nights $5 and weekends $3.50

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
