Valley Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist I for the Pulmonology & Sleep Specialist department in Winchester, VA. This regular full-time role on First Shift provides patient care across age groups with a focus on assessments, therapy implementation, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) required.
• BLS Certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) required.
• NBRC Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
• Virginia license applicant path may apply (RTA) after program completion.

Responsibilities

• Administers all therapy modalities per physician orders and protocols.
• Performs SpO2 monitoring and arterial blood gas analysis.
• Performs airway clearance therapy.
• Operates ventilators and non-invasive ventilation.
• Provides patient assessments and education; documents in EHR.
• Participates in rapid response, code situations, and trauma activations.
• Ensures shift-end reports are thorough and accurate.
