Valley Health in Winchester Center, CT is seeking a Respiratory Therapist I to join the Respiratory Therapy team on the third shift. You will care for patients across age groups under physician orders and participate in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include administering therapy, monitoring via pulse oximetry, ventilator support, EHR documentation, and patient education. New graduates are encouraged to apply and must be licensed, CPR certified, and NBRC certified or eligible.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited educational program for Respiratory Care.
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) required.
• NBRC CRT or RRT certification required or eligible.
• BLS certification required prior to orientation.

Responsabilités

• Administers therapy modalities per physician orders and procedures.
• Performs SpO2 monitoring, arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Operates ventilators and non-invasive ventilation equipment.
• Performs routine assessments and documentation in the EHR.
• Participates in rapid response, code, and trauma activations as needed.
• Maintains equipment setup and cleanliness; supports bronchoscopies and intubations as required.
