Job summary

Concord Hospital in Concord, New Hampshire, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer respiratory therapy and life support for patients across the cardiopulmonary spectrum, from neonates to geriatrics, under medical direction. The role requires an Associate's degree in Respiratory Care and NH licensure with NBRC eligibility; BLS certification is required, and NRP within 6 months.

RRT credentials at hire are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate with an Associate's degree from an AMA-approved school for Respiratory Care.
• Current NH Respiratory Care license or registry eligible; RRT credentials required at time of hire.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers is required; NRP within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments and adapts to changing clinical conditions.
• Administers medication to patients.
• Documents care provided and patient's progress toward attainment of desired outcomes.
• Involves self in departmental and hospital initiatives.
• Obtains required intubations.
• Manages time and workload fluctuations.
• Acts as a preceptor to staff and students.
• Utilizes the hospital and departmental information, technology systems and equipment operations.
• Completes departmental and hospital requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
