You will collaborate with physicians and nurses to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory care while documenting outcomes and ensuring patient safety. Responsibilities include educating patients and families, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and supporting advanced therapies such as ECMO and ventilator management.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or CoARC-accredited program.
• Licenses: Respiratory Care Practitioner, RRT, BCLS.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Provides direct respiratory care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within hospital and departmental guidelines. Applies advanced clinical expertise and scientific knowledge, serving as a resource to the healthcare team while ensuring patient safety with developmentally appropriate care. Communicates effectively through documentation and collaboration, and educates patients, families, and staff on respiratory treatments and procedures.

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures according to established standards, troubleshooting as needed. Demonstrates advanced skills supporting activities such as ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopy, sleep studies, and cardiopulmonary rehab. Maintains accountability for continuous learning and prioritizes multiple duties efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Associate degree or CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Licenses & Certifications: Respiratory Care Practitioner, RRT, Basic Cardiovascular Life Support
• Strong communication, education, and clinical troubleshooting skills
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in related field
