LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join a pediatric healthcare team. You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with a focus on safety and developmentally appropriate treatment.

Ideal candidates collaborate with clinicians, educate families, and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including advanced care like ECMO and ventilation support, while pursuing ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Licenses and certifications include Respiratory Care Practitioner, RRT, and BCLS.
• Experience is not mandatory; new graduates are welcome.
• Night shifts with 12-hour shifts are required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively through documentation and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on respiratory treatments and procedures, utilizing diverse teaching methods.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to established standards, troubleshooting as needed.
• Support advanced clinical responsibilities such as ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopy, and other specialized procedures.
• Maintain professional growth by seeking feedback and continuing education.

The therapist ensures patient safety by delivering developmentally appropriate care while adhering to quality, regulatory, and improvement standards.
