Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a licensed Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care, assess needs, plan treatments, and ensure safety and compliance with standards. They will serve as a clinical resource within the care team and deliver age-appropriate respiratory care.

Responsibilities include documenting clearly, educating patients and families, and supporting quality improvement initiatives while maintaining high standards of professional growth and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) and Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Experience not required; strong clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills are essential.

• Educates patients, families, students, and staff on respiratory treatments and procedures, utilizing diverse learning styles.
• Seeks continuous learning opportunities, manages multiple duties, and prioritizes tasks efficiently.

• Supports advanced skills such as ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, sleep studies, and cardiopulmonary rehab.
