Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) to assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care. The role includes patient assessments, developing care plans, and administering therapies in a clinical setting.

The candidate will manage ventilators, educate patients and families, and assist with airway management and transport. ACLS/BLS/NRP/PALS certifications are required and provided by the employer, with emphasis on safe, protocol-driven care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are required and will be provided by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient assessments and establishing care plans.
• Administering aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and secretion management.
• Managing mechanical ventilators and monitoring non-invasive devices.
• Providing patient and family education on disease management.
• Assisting with airway management, intra-hospital transport, and emergency situations.
• Collecting arterial blood gases and adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
• Supporting intra-hospital procedures like bronchoscopy and invasive monitoring.
• Functioning as a shift coordinator and preceptor for trainees.
