Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform comprehensive respiratory care for patients under physician orders and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize therapy. You will provide direct patient care, evaluate therapy effectiveness, and participate in assigned duties.

Role Overview:

Performs comprehensive respiratory care for patients based on physician orders, acting as a key resource for physicians and nursing staff. Provides direct patient care, evaluates therapy effectiveness, and performs assigned duties.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Ability to operate respiratory care devices and handle physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Preferred certifications include ACLS; Emergency Room experience and PALS are advantageous
• Critical care experience is preferred
