Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NBRC-RRT or RCP.
• 0–2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care, assessments, ventilator management, medications, and ABG interpretation.
• Educate patients, families, and support systems; mentor new staff and students.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate and plan patient care.

Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment, primarily in critical care settings.

• Educate patients, families, and support systems, and mentor new employees and students.


• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate and plan effective patient care.


• Ensure a safe, quality environment by promoting accurate documentation, electronic orders, and adherence to safety protocols.


• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices.


• Assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including pulmonary diagnostics and cardiac procedures.
