Job summary

DayToDay Health seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner to deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients per physician orders and support healthcare teams as an advanced resource. You will perform direct patient care, evaluate therapy effectiveness with physicians and nurses, and utilize respiratory devices appropriately.

Ideal candidates hold CoArc accreditation, an active RCP license, NBRC RRT/CRT, and ER certifications (PALS/ACLS).

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license as per state requirements.
• NBRC certification as RRT or CRT.
• PALS and ACLS certifications for ER roles.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience (excluding orientation).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Preferred experience in critical care settings.

Role Overview: Provides comprehensive respiratory care to patients based on physician orders, acting as an advanced resource for healthcare teams. Consults on therapy effectiveness and performs assigned duties to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Act as an expert resource on respiratory care practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license as per state requirements.
• Certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by NBRC.
• For emergency room roles, PALS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience (excluding orientation).
• Physical ability to handle equipment and perform patient care tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Preferred experience in critical care settings.

Additional Details: Flexible shifts (day/night), with options for 4, 8, or 12 hours, and incentives based on shift choices. No mandatory weekends or holidays. W-2 employment with competitive pay rates ($30/hr CRT, $35/hr RRT).
