Job summary

Foundations Health Solutions, Ohio's premier long term care provider, is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to support NIV compliance and resident care in the Cleveland area. You will review NIV usage, ensure proper documentation, and coordinate with nursing, administration, and core teams to maintain audit-ready records.

The role emphasizes device oversight, documentation accuracy, and collaboration with clinical staff to ensure resident safety and adherence to CMS/Ohio Medicaid

Responsibilities

• Review NIV usage hours, refusal documentation, and adherence to prescribed settings.
• Validate that nurses are completing the NIV Progress Note UDA once per shift or each time NIV is offered or encouraged.
• Confirm documentation reflects actual usage, refusals, education, mask issues, and symptom changes.
• Update the compliance tracker, PCC notes, Vent Calendars
• Verify trial notes and initiation notes for new NIV residents.
