Qualifications

• Graduation from Respiratory Therapist Program.
• NBRC approval required or obtained.
• Ability to analyze, prioritize and evaluate patient needs efficiently.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to accept, transcribe & implement verbal orders from physicians.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operation of Respiratory Care services including patient assignment and shift reports.
• Maintain high standards for a caseload of patients as described by the scope of care.
• Ensure compliance with Ohio Respiratory Care Laws and applicable standards.
• Secure and handle supplies, medications, and lab specimens transported within the hospital.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.
• Contribute to high customer satisfaction through professional care.
