Medical Service Company in Toledo, OH is seeking a Respiratory Therapist NIV Specialist to assess patient respiratory needs and guide the selection, instruction, and troubleshooting of appropriate respiratory equipment and services.

You will educate patients on therapy benefits, coordinate with physicians and caregivers, and document plans of care and discharge plans, providing compassionate, quality care per policy.

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licensure as requested.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer respiratory needs and select appropriate equipment or services.
• Educate customers on proper use and care of respiratory devices.
• Coordinate with physicians and caregivers to adjust plans of care.
• Document plans of care, equipment orders and discharge plans.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the physician and adjust treatment as needed.
