Job summary

Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join the Lubbock Heart team. You will provide therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary care to inpatients and outpatients around the clock, with emphasis on safety and quality patient care.

Requirements include Texas license in Respiratory Care, BLS certification (ACLS preferred), and 3–5 years of clinical experience. Night shift (1730-0600) with competitive benefits and ongoing professional development available.

Qualifications

• Must be registered/and or certified and licensed by the state of Texas in Respiratory Care. Registration by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRT) or registry eligibility is also required.
• Must be BLS Certifies and prefer ACLS certification.
• Three to Five (3 – 5) years combined clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary care for inpatients and outpatients 24/7.
• Administer therapeutic gases, aerosol therapy, medications, and evaluate therapy effectiveness.
• Assist with ventilation support, airway management, chest physiotherapy, and CPR.
