Job summary

Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital in Lubbock, TX is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team on the night shift. You will provide pulmonary care 24/7 for inpatients and outpatients, with emphasis on safe ventilation, accurate documentation, and collaborative patient care.

This role requires Texas licensure, BLS, ACLS preferred, and 3–5 years of clinical experience. We offer a family-oriented environment, flexible scheduling, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be registered or certified and licensed by the state of Texas in Respiratory Care.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary care for inpatients and outpatients, 24/7.
• Administer therapeutic gases, aerosol therapy, and medications; monitor effectiveness.
• Assist with ventilation, airway management, chest physiotherapy, and CPR.
• Support pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopy, EKG, ABG, and nocturnal oximetry.
• Perform patient suctioning and maintain accurate therapy records.
• Ensure care aligns with age-specific policies and annual competency requirements.
