Job summary

AdventHealth in Killeen, TX is hiring a Respiratory Therapist for full-time night shifts (3x12) including weekends. You will perform arterial blood gases analysis, manage ventilators, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

Requirements include an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, Texas RCP license, NBRC RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and 1+ year of critical care experience preferred. Sign-on bonus available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Texas Licensure required for Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
• NBRC RRT certification required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Documents and charges for procedures accurately and completely.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to optimize patient flow and care.
• Interprets evaluations and test results to determine appropriate therapy.
• Operates and monitors mechanical ventilators per protocol.
• Maintains safety and standard precautions in all procedures.
