Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of NBRC school for respiratory care.
• Ability to follow directions accurately, organize and accomplish work as assigned.
• Excellent communication skills to work with patients, visitors and medical team.
• Proficient in EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in all hospital areas.
• Maintain and monitor mechanical ventilation.
• Perform arterial/capillary blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Serve as a clinical resource to nursing staff and ancillary personnel.
• Consult with physicians and nurses to adjust therapy as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager and supervisor.
