RWJBarnabas Health in Mountainside, NJ is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Reg to join the Respiratory Care team on the night shift. You will evaluate, treat, and care for pediatric patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care within a hospital setting. Required: JRC-approved program graduate, NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist, NJ state license, and AHA BLS Provider Certification.

Preferred: BS degree. Full-time position (36 hours/week).

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Joint Review Committee for Respiratory Therapy Education approved program
• Registered Respiratory Therapist from the NBRC
• NJ State Respiratory License
• AHA BLS Provider Certification
• BS degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat and care for pediatric patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans within hospital policy
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and therapies
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and include RCP II/III guidance as needed
• Maintain ISTAT blood analysis procedures and adhere to lab policies
