PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care to adult and geriatric residents in skilled nursing, outpatient, and home-based settings. You will perform procedures, monitor therapy responses, and support critical care within established physician plans.

Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway care, charting, and collaboration with the care team. Requires NBRC accredited program, BLS, and state licensure as an RCP.

Qualifications

• NBRC accredited respiratory care program completed.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current State Licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Responsabilités

• Perform respiratory care procedures under supervision and medical direction.
• Administer prescribed therapy and aerosolized medications; monitor and document patient progress.
• Initiate and monitor life support systems and ventilators as directed.
• Assess residents’ cardiopulmonary status and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Provide in-service training to residents, families, and facility staff.
• Maintain equipment, logs, and supplies; ensure safety and compliance.
