Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care under medical direction in a skilled nursing setting. You will assess residents, administer therapies and monitor responses, while coordinating with the care team.

Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway care and documentation. A NBRC-accredited program, BLS, and state licensure are required; opportunities for growth and cross-site support available.

Qualifications

• A NBRC approved and accredited respiratory therapy program completed with clinical practice.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner required.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care procedures under physician direction.
• Assess and manage residents' respiratory status and therapy.
• Administer prescribed therapy and medications, monitor progress and adverse reactions.
• Maintain ventilators and related equipment; ensure safety and proper documentation.
• Participate in emergency CPR and resuscitation procedures as part of the team.
