Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver ventilatory support, airway care and medication administration in our skilled nursing and rehab settings. You will work under physician direction, perform assessments, and document patient progress to optimize therapy outcomes.

Candidates must have NBRC-approved respiratory therapy education, state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, and current BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• NBRC-approved Respiratory Therapy program completed.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• State licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, monitors and maintains life support systems in skilled facility.
• Manages ventilator status as per protocol.
• Performs airway care and maintenance.
• Participates in CPR procedures and resuscitation efforts.
• Documents resident care services and progress in medical records.
• Instructs residents and families on respiratory therapies and devices.
