Job summary

Vibra Permanent Staffing is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a direct hire, full-time position in Pineville, NC. Join a specialty LTAC setting caring for medically complex patients with a strong interprofessional team.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, Ventilator management, coordination with physicians, and family education. BLS/ACLS required; NC license or compact state license preferred; prior LTAC/ICU experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina or compact-state RT license required.
• 1+ year of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct respiratory care to high-acuity patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team on care plans.
• Operate and monitor ventilators and respiratory equipment as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in patient charts and MARs.
• Educate patients and families about treatments and discharge planning.
