Job summary

Oakhill Healthcare in Massachusetts seeks an exceptional Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a long‑term care facility. You will deliver respiratory care services in accordance with physician orders and applicable regulatory guidelines.

The role emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and compassionate care. Eligible candidates possess a valid, unrestricted Respiratory Therapy license in the state; a driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid, unrestricted license in the respiratory therapy discipline in the state.
• Educational requirements of licensure requirements.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment preferred.
• Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates and directs the delivery of respiratory care services according to state laws.
• Executes respiratory care services per physician orders and relevant professional guidelines.
• Coordinates reporting of facility's respiratory care KPIs and monitors indicators.
• Evaluates KPI outcomes and notifies Nursing Director to trigger action.
• Develops processes to lead and direct respiratory care including screening, evaluation, treatment, discharge and documentation.
• Ensures documentation and billing/coding compliance for residents receiving respiratory care services.
