Job summary

Oakhill Healthcare is seeking an exceptional Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Massachusetts. The role involves planning, directing, and evaluating respiratory care services in compliance with state and federal regulations while collaborating with physicians and the nursing team.

The Respiratory Therapist will monitor performance indicators, ensure accurate documentation and billing, and help guide care plans for residents in the facility.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted state license in Respiratory Therapy.
• Educational requirements for licensure.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, and directs delivery of respiratory care services in accordance with laws and regulations.
• Coordinates performance indicators for respiratory care and reports outcomes to Nursing leadership.
• Implements processes to ensure timely screening, evaluation, treatment, discharge, and documentation for residents.
• Ensures proper documentation, billing and coding for respiratory care services.
