Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the Atrium Health Pineville Respiratory Therapy Services department. This part-time role involves 24 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts (Fri/Sat/Sun) and weekend float responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be a Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care with an RRT credential and state licensure, capable of managing ventilators, delivering oxygen therapy, and supporting patient education and care plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.
• RRT or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Administers and monitors oxygen delivery and ventilators as prescribed.
• Performs diagnostic procedures per policy.
• Documents therapy and results for hospital and regulatory reporting.
• Initiates and adjusts respiratory care in emergencies.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to plan patient care.
